Before starting any treatments, Dr. Walker will review your medical history and explain how Sedation Dentistry can work for you.
The night before your treatment appointment, you will take a pill. On the day of your appointment, you will take another pill, then your companion will take you to the office. Dr. Walker and his clinical team will make certain that you're relaxed and completely comfortable and they monitor you very closely while you are sedated. Nitrous Oxide gas may be used to enhance your relaxation. During the appointment, you will be sedated enough so that you will be unaware of the treatment. Most patients feel no discomfort during their treatment, and have little or no memory of the dental visit.
